Section 223-9. The official charged with the enforcement of this ordi- <br />nance is hereby authorized and empowered to seize and destroy any container or <br />impound any vehicle, if found in the possession of a manufacturer, licensee or <br />peddler, which is of improper material or constructions, is out of repair, dirty <br />or unsanitary. <br /> <br /> Section 223-10. The official charged with the enforcement of this ordi- <br />nance shall have power to suspend any license if the licensee or any peddler <br />employed by the licensee, does not ccmply in all respects with the provisions of <br />this ordinance and with all other applicable laws and ordinances, or if any <br />false statement shall have been made by the licensee in his application for the <br />issuance of such license. <br /> <br /> .- sec$ion 2~ That present Sect~iOn 223½ of Ordinance No. 2276 now reading: <br /> ~ "Sold from Pushcarts, et~. No person, shall sell ice cream or ices <br /> ~rom pushcarts, wagons or any other vehicle or from any open or <br /> exposed place in any street, avenue, highway, boulevard or school <br /> yard., <br /> <br />shall be, and the same is hereby, repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, p~ovided it receives the af- <br />firmative vote of' two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediate!y upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.. <br /> <br />Ad~pted:_,, <br /> <br />June .5, 1950 <br /> <br /> Wm.
