(b) In the Ci~ of Lakewood any operator or chauffeur of a motor vehicle, re- <br />quired by the laws of Ohio to have a license, upon the demand of a police officer, <br />or any @erson damaged or injured in any collision in which such licensee may be in- <br />volved, shall furnish satisfactory proof that he has such license. Failure to produce <br />such license on demand or to furnish such evidence that such person is duly licensed, <br />shall be prima facie evidence of his not having obtained such license. <br /> <br /> Section ?0. (a) No person shall slide or coast upon hand sleds or skates in <br />any street of the City of I~kewood, provided, however, that nothing in this section <br />shall prohibit the setting aside of streets or sections thereof, for limited periods of <br />time, for playground purposes by the officials of the City having charge thereof, <br />under proper supervision. <br /> <br /> (b) No person shall fly a kite or play any game of ball or quoits or other <br />game, on any street of this city, provided, ho~er, that nothing in this section shall <br />prohibit the setting aside of streets, Or sections thereof for limited periods of <br />time, for playgro~ud purposes by the officials of the city having charge thereof, ~ <br />under proper supervision. ~ <br /> <br /> Section ?l, 'It shall be unlawful fer any person upon roller skates or riding <br />in or by means of any coaster, toy vehicle, or similar device, to go upon any street' <br />except while crossing a street on a crosswalk. <br /> <br /> Section ?2e Except on one-way streets as provided in sub-paragraph (b) hereof <br />and except where angle parking is permitted by ordinance, every vehicle stopped or <br />parked upon a street where there is an adjacent ~urb shall be stopped or parked with <br />the right hand wheels of such vehicle parallel with and not more than twelve inches <br />from the right hand curb unless it is impossible to approach se close to the curb <br />and in such case the stop shall be as close to the curb as possible and only for the <br />time necessary to discharge and receive passengers or to load or unload merchandise. <br /> <br /> (b) Parking of vehicles with the left-hand wheels adjacent to andwithin <br />twelve inches of the left-hand curb of a one-way street may be permitted by Regulation <br />promulgated by the Director of Public Safety provided appropriate signs are erected~ <br /> <br /> (c) No vehicle or trackless trolley shallbe stepped or parked ena street <br />with the vehicle or trackless trolley facing in a direction other than the direction <br />ef travel en that side of the street. .~ <br /> <br /> ~ (d) Nob~ithstanding the provisions of the preceding sections, air compressors~ <br />tractors, trucks and other equipment, while being used in theconstruction, reoon- <br />struction~ installation, repair or removal of facilities near, on, over or under a <br />street, may stop, stand or park where and as necessary in order to perform such work, <br />provided a flagman is on duty or warning signs or lights are displayed as may be <br />prescribed by the Director cf Highways of the State of Ohio. <br /> <br /> Section ?~. No person shall drive a vehiclewhen it is so loaded, or when <br />there are in the front seat such number of persons as to obstruct the view of the <br />driver to the~ront er sides of the vehicle or as to interfere withthe driver's con- <br />trol of the vehicle. ~ <br /> <br /> Section 74. No person shall drive upon, along or across a Street or any part <br />thereof which has been closed amd posted with appropriate signs, while in the process <br />of construction, reconstruction or repair, by the authority having jurisdiction to <br />close such street. <br /> <br /> Section 75, The driver of any vehicle other than an emergency vehicle on of- <br />flcial business shall not follow any emergency vehicle traveling in response to an <br />alarm closer than five hundred feet or drive into or park such vehicle within the <br />block where fire apparatus has stopped in answer to a fire al~m unless directed so <br />to do by a police officer or fireman. <br /> <br /> Section 76. No street car, trackless trolley or vehicle shall be driven over <br />any unprotected hose of a fire department when laid down on any street, private drive- <br />way, or street car track, to beused at any fire or alarm of fire, without the con- <br />sent of the fire department official in command. <br /> <br /> <br />
