(c) The temperature of the air in the pool room of an <br />indoor swimming pool, similarly taken. <br />(d) The amount of residual chlorine or other bactericide <br />in the water of the pool, tested at le&st once in the <br />morning and once in the afternoon of each day the pool <br />is used, together with the name or initials of the person <br />testing to determine such amount. <br /> (e) The dates on which the filters are backwashed. <br />(f) The dates on which the hair and lint catchers are <br />cleaned. <br />(g) The number of gallons of water per day recirculated <br />in the pool. <br />fh) The date on which each sample is taken for bacterial <br />count, and the name or initials of the person taking such <br />sample. <br /> (i) Such further information as may be required by <br />the Commissioner of Health in order to determine whether <br />the pool is being safely operated. <br /> <br />329.131 Personnel Required. <br /> <br />(a) Operating Personnel. Bach public swimming pool shall <br />be operated under the close supervision of a well-trained <br />and responsible operator or operators,-capable of making <br />field tests such as residual chlorine or other bactercide, <br />and thoroughly familiar with the operation of all mechanical <br />appurtenances of the pool. Any such operator shall, upon <br />request, demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Commissioner <br />of Health, his ability to perform his required duties. <br /> <br />(b) Life Guards. A sufficient number of attendants shall <br />be on duty when the swimming pool is in use who shall be <br />capable swimmers, competent in life-saving methods and <br />resuscitation. <br /> <br /> FAMILY SWIMMING POOLS <br /> <br />329.132 r Plans to Be Submitted to the Division of Building <br /> Inspection. <br />Plans, specifications and pertinent explanatory data re- <br />quired to be submitted in connection with an application <br />for a permit to construct a family swimming pool or any <br />alteration, addition, remodeling or other improvements <br />thereto shall comply with the following requirements, <br />and shall includs...~ah~.~llowing plans and information, <br />as well as such other data as may reasonably be requested <br />by the Commissioner of Health and Commissioner of <br />Building Inspection. <br /> (a) Plans shall be drawn to a scale of not less than <br /> one-eighth (1/Sth) inch per foot, indicating all <br /> materials and method of construction and indicating <br /> all dimensions, including the length, width and <br /> depth of the pool and width of the pool deck; <br /> ~) A profile plan showing the same information~ <br /> (c) A plot plan showing position of pool in relation <br /> to buildings and lot lines; <br /> (d) A cross-section of scum gutters, skimmers, or <br /> overflow troughs, where used; <br /> (e) Pipe diagrams ~howing size of all pipes, inlets, <br /> outlets, make-up water lines, vacuum lines, waste <br /> and discharge lines, circulation and other piping; <br /> <br /> <br />
