o li - <br /> <br />(3) Regulations To be Posted. The operator of a public <br />swimming pool shall post suitable placards embodying such <br />personal regulations and instructions as required in <br />this section. <br /> <br />329.127 Cleanliness of Pool and Environs. <br /> <br />(a) Daily Cleansing. At least once each day, when a pub- <br />lic swimming pool is in use, the bottom of the pool shall be <br />:~l~/ cl~,s=~ ~.. ~L1 sedL.~nt and o~hur £o~i~n <br />removed by vacuum cleaner or other equally efficienct means, <br />and the overflow trough completely cleansed and all sediment <br />and foreign matter removed therefrom. <br />(b) Weekly Cleansing. At least once each seven days the <br /> be thoroughly scrubbed and cleanedl each filter <br />shall be thoroughly back-washed and each hair and lint <br />catcher .completely emptied and thoroughly cleaned. <br />(c) General Requirements. The buildings, grounds, dress- <br />lng rooms, and ell other si~mming pool facilities shall <br />be kept clean and in a sanitary condition and maintained <br />free from garbage, trash and other refuse. <br /> <br />329.128 Operation and. Maintenance. <br /> <br />Chlorination plants shall be operated in such manner <br />that the amount of excess or residual chlorine in all <br />parts of the pool at all times when the pool is in use <br />shall not be less than four tenths (.4) parts per million, <br />or more than one (1.00) part per million. The chlorina- <br />tor and tanks shall be installed in a special closet with <br />vent to the exterior of the building and with a fan, un- <br />less considered unnecessary by the Commission of Health. <br /> <br />329.129 Ouality of ~ater. <br /> <br />The bacterial quality o£ water in the pool shall be main- <br />tained so that no t~o successive samples nor more than <br />fifteen per cent (15%) of any number o£ successive <br />s//mples shall contain more than two hundred (200) bacteria <br />per cubic centimeter, nor show positive confirmed results <br />for caliarogenes. <br /> <br />A sample shall be taken £rora each public poo~ at least <br />once in each ~eek when the pool is in operation, and sub- <br />mitted for test to the Commissioner of Health, or to a <br />testing laboratory designated by the Commissioner of <br />Health. The Commissioner of Health may require additional <br />samples to be taken and submitted ~,~henever he determines <br />it necessary for the safe operation of any pool. <br /> <br />329.130 ~ecords <br /> <br />The person in charge of each public swimming poo! shall <br />cause to be kept complete records, in form prescribed <br />by the Con=issioner of Health~ showing the follo~in§ in- <br />formation: <br /> (a) The number of swimmers in such pool each' day. <br /> (b) Tile temperature of the water in an indoor swim- <br /> min~ pool, taken at least once during the morning and <br /> once during, the afternoon of each day the pool is <br /> used. <br /> <br /> <br />
