i.~i~entor will net injure or mar, nor i~ any manner deface prem- <br />ises, and shall net cause or permit anything to be done whereby said <br />premises shall be in any manner marred er defaced, nor shall renter <br />drive or permit to be driven any nails, hooks, tacks or screws, or <br />any similar items, in any part of said premises, or any part of the <br />b~lding. Nor shall it make er permit to be made any alteration of <br />any kind therein. <br /> <br /> If premises, or any part of the building in which premises <br />are located, shall be damaged by the act, defattlt or negligence of <br />the renter, or its members, agents, employees, patrons, guests or <br />any person admitted to the premises by renter, the renter will pay <br />City, upon demand, such sum as shall be necessary tO restore said <br />premises te the condition existing prier to such damage. <br /> <br /> Ren~or assumes full responsibility for the character, act <br />and conduct of all persons admitted by it tc premises. <br /> <br /> Renter shall not assign his rental agreement, nor suffer any <br />use of premises for purposes other than those stipulated in its <br />rental applzcatlon, nor shall renter sub-lease the premises, or any <br />part thereof, withsut written con'~ent of City~ ~ <br /> <br /> City assumes no responsibility whatever for any property <br />being placed in premises and the City shall be expressly released <br />and discharged from any and all responsibility for any less, injury <br />or damage te person or property that may be sustained by reason of <br />the occupancy of premises under the rental agreement. <br /> <br /> The City reserves the sole right to conduct and control, <br />either directly er indirectly, all concessions in the Municipal <br />Departments and Administration Building, including but net being <br />limited to concessions for checking property, for sale ef refre~- <br />ments, for sale or rental of O~her articles and distribution of <br />programs and the making and taking ef photographs. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emer- <br />gency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all mem- <br />bers elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its adoption and approval by the Nayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:.
