PLEASE SUBST~93UTE FOR COPY <br />SUP~'~YED W!T~ DOCKET° <br /> <br />-7- <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 143.05 (c) <br /> <br />An employee may not cumulate in excess of a total <br />of thirty (30) working days of vacation time, <br />excluding all vacation time earned in the year in <br />which the cumulated vacation is taken. Vacation <br />time acquired but not used in excess of the amount <br />stated herein shall be regarded as surrendered by <br />the employee. Vacation time not taken is not to be <br />regarded as compensable in money except as provided <br />in paragraph (b) above. <br /> <br /> Section 10. That Section 143.06(a) of the <br /> dm~nlstrat~ve Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 143.06(a) <br /> <br />"Full time permanent hourly employees shall be <br />granted holidays with regular time pay, as follows: <br /> <br />New Year's Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br /> <br />T~anksgiving Day <br />Christmas Day <br />Good Friday <br /> <br />Whenever any of these falls on Saturday, the twenty- <br />four (24) hour period from 12:00 noon of the preceding <br />Friday to 12:00 noon of Saturday shall be regarded as <br />the holiday.
