-2- <br /> <br />Section 967.21 Abandoned Junk Vehicles on Public or <br /> Private Property <br />No person shall place, stand or park a junk vehicle <br />upon any street, alley or public grounds, or upon <br />any private property without the consent of the owner, <br />for a period in excess of twenty-four (24) hours° <br />Any person who violates this provision, upon conviction, <br />shall be guilty~of a misdemeanor and shall be subject <br />to a fine of not less than T~n Dollars ($10.00) nor more <br />than Fifty Dollars ($50.00). <br /> <br />Section 967°22 Removal of Abandoned, Destroyed, <br /> Dismantled, Junk Vehicle <br />Any junk vehicle Which is disposed of in violation of <br />Section 967o21 shall be deemed abandoned at the end <br />of the twenty-four ~(24) hour period, and shall be <br />subject to being impounded, removed and conveyed by <br />towing or other means, by order~of any member of the <br />Division of POlice tO any ar~a (public or private) <br />where it may be lawfUlly placed~ After being impounded <br />for a minimum of ten days, such jun~ vehicle may be <br />sold for salvage value or otherwise permanently dis- <br />posed Ofo <br /> <br />Section 967°23 Notice of Condition of Junk Vehicle and its Removal <br />Notice that said junk vehicle is so dismantled, destroyed <br />or changed that it physically is no longer a motor veh~cl~ <br />or is not the motor vehicle described in the purchaser's <br />certificate of title, shall be given to the Clerk of the <br />Court of Common Pleas who issued it. <br /> <br />Section 967.24 Distribution of Proceeds of Sale <br /> of Junk Vehicles <br /> <br />After junk vehicles have been sold Or otherwise disposed <br />of, the proceeds of such sale, if any, shall be applied <br />to the towing charges and the balance, if any, shall be <br />deposited into the general fund of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon'its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted~Februar¥ 6, 1967 <br /> <br />Charles S.
