HUffman, Kelley, Ushei <br /> ~ard, ;~Tendiing, Cain, Gaydos <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCYORDINANCEdetermAningtoproce~d with the improvement <br />of Certain properties in the City of Imkewood, Ohio for off-street parking of <br />motor vehicles by the acquiring of reel estate, demolition of existing <br />buildings~ grading, paving, curbing~ lighting, fencing and providing drainage <br />facilities together with necessary appurtenances thereto and widening Carabel <br />Avenue in connectioh therewith. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this COun~ilby two-thirds vote Of the members elected there- <br />to determines that this ~dinsnce is an ~mergency me~sUre which is necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and <br />safety and for the further reason thst the improvements herein provided are <br />immediately necessary to eliminate existing hazards to vehiculartraffic using <br />the streets of this City and conditions which could ceuse blight; <br /> <br /> NON, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Lakewood, Cuyahoga <br />County, State of Ohio, three-fourths of all members elected thereto concurring: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That it is hereby determined to proceed with the improve- <br />ment of the following properties: <br /> <br /> Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyshoga <br />and State of Ohio, end known as being part of Sublo~ Nos. <br />81, 82 and 84 in The N. F. W. Bailey Re-Subdivision of part <br />of Original Rockport Township Section No. 19, as shown <br />by the recorded plat in Volume 58 of Maps, Page 23 of <br />Cuyahoge County Records, and together forming a parcel of <br />land bounded and described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning on the Easterly side of Csrabel Avenue, at <br />the Southwesterly corner of Sublot No. 84; thence Northerly <br />along the EaSterly side of Carabel Avenue, 40 feet to the <br />Southwesterly corner of a~ parcel of land conveyed to The <br />Cleveland Trust Company by deed dated June 5, 19~9~ snd re7 <br />corded in Volume 4963~ Page 669 of CUymhoga County Rec°rds, <br />thence Easterly elong the Southerly line of seid psrce! so <br />conveyed, 134 feet to its intersection with the Northerly <br />prolongstion of an Emsterly line of Sublot No. 84; thence <br />Southerly along said Northerly prolonga~ion and along said <br />Fmsterty line of Sublot No. 84, 40 feet to the Southeasterly <br />corner thereof; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of <br />Sublot No. 84, 134 feet to the place of beginning~ as sppesrs <br />by saidplmt, be the ssme more or less, but subject to all <br />legal highways; and <br /> <br /> Situated in the City of Lekewood, County of Cuyahoga <br />and State of Ohio and known ss being Sublot No. 85 in the <br />N. F. W. Bailey Re-Subdivision of pert Of Original Rockport <br />Township SectionlNo. 19, as shown by the recorded plat of <br />said Re-Subdivision in Volume 58 of Malps, Page 23 of Cuyahoga <br />County Re~ords, and ha~ing s frontsge of 40 feet on the <br />Easterly side of Cara~el Avenue, and extending back of equal <br />width 1~4 £eet deep, as appears by said plst, be the same <br />more or less, but subject to all legal highways. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That ssid properties shsll be improved for off-street <br />parking of motor vehicles by aequirimg real estate, demolit~lon of existing <br />buildings, grsding, paving, curbing~ lighting~ fencing end, providing drainage <br />facilities together with t~he necessary appurtenances thereto and widening <br />Csra~el Avenue along the front of the property described in Section i hereof <br />by relocating the curb and grsding and paving and in accordance with Resolution <br />No. ~5~passed on the 15 d~y of ~ay ' 1~67, and insccord~ncewith the <br /> <br /> <br />
