-3- <br /> <br />Section 773,06 Issuance of License <br /> <br />(a) The Chief of Police upon receipt of the proper <br />application accompanied by the required fee, is authorized <br />to issue a bicycle license which shall be effective for <br />a period of not to exceed five (5) years. <br /> <br /> Section 5. That Section 773.08(a) of the Traffic Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773,08 Attachment of License Plates <br /> <br />"(a) At the time of registration the Chief of Police <br />shall furnish to the applicant a durable registration <br />plate bearing the license number assigned to the bicycle, <br />and the name of the city. He shall also issue a regis- <br />tration card to the applicant reciting that the bicycle <br />has been registered in the name of the owner. Such reg- <br />istration card shall also recite the expiration date of <br />the license and the serial number of such license." <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.08 Attachment of Licgnse Plate or Decals <br /> <br />(a) At the time of registration the Chief of Police <br />shall furnish to the applicant a license plate or <br />decal bearing the license number assigned to the bicycle, <br />and the name of the city. He shall also issue a regis- <br />tration card to the applicant reciting that the bicycle <br />has been registered in the name of the owner. Such regis- <br />tration card shall also recite the expiration date of the <br />license and the serial number of such license. <br /> <br /> Section 6. That Section 773.08(b) of the Traffic Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 733.08 Attachment of License Plates <br /> <br />"(b) The Chief of Police shall direct the owner to attach <br />such license plate to the rear mudguard or frame of the <br />bicycle for which issued in such position as to be plainly <br />visible from the rear." <br /> <br />b~ and ~th~,same is~sreby~,amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.08 Attachment of License Plates or Decals <br /> <br /> (b) The Chief of Police shall direct the owner to attach <br />such license plate or decal to the bicycle for which issued <br />in such position, as to be plainly visible from the rear. If <br />such an attachment is not possible, the plate or decal <br />must be attached in some other position where it will be <br />plainly visible. <br /> <br /> <br />
