That Section 773.08(d) of the Traffic Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.08 Attachment of License Plates <br /> <br />#(d) It shall be unlawful to maliciously remove, destroy, <br />mutilate or alter any serial number of any bicycle licensed <br />hereunder, or any license plate or license card issued <br />hereunder." <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.08 Attachment of License Plate~ or Decals <br /> <br />(d).It sha~l be unlawful to maliciously remove,_des~oy, <br />mutilate or alter any serial number of any bicycle licensed. <br />hereunder, or any license plate, decal or card issued <br />hereunder. <br /> <br /> Section 8. That Section 773.08(e) of the Traffic Code <br />of'the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.08 Attachment of License Plates <br /> <br />"(e) In the event the license plate is lost, defaced or <br />destroyed, the Chief of Police when satisfied of such <br />fact shall issue a new license plate upon application of <br />'the owner of such bicycle~ A replacement fee of one <br />dollar shall be authorized." <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.08 Attachment of License Plates or Decals <br /> <br />(e) In the event the license plate or decal is lost, defaced <br />or destroyed, the Chief of Police when satisfied of such <br />fact shall issue a new license plate or decal upon applica- <br />tion of the owner of such bicycle. A replacement fee of <br />$1.50 shall be authorized. <br /> <br /> Section 9. That Section 773.11 of the Traffic Code of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.11 Transfer of Ownership <br /> <br />"Upon the sale or other transfer of a licensed bicycle the <br />licensee shall remove the license plate and shall either <br />surrender the same to the Chief of Police or may upon <br />proper application, but without payment of an additional <br />fee, have said plate assigned to another bicycle owned <br />by the applicant.
