Section 773.11 Non-transferability of Ownership <br /> <br /> Upon the sale or other transfer of a licensed bicycle <br /> the licensee shall remove the license plate or decal <br /> and shall destroy the same. <br /> <br /> Section 10. That Section 773.12 of the Traffic Code <br />of the Codified ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.12 Rental Agencies <br /> <br />"A rental agency operating within the city limits of Lakewood <br />shall not rent or offer any bicycle for rent unless the <br />bicycle is licensed and a license plate is attached as <br />provided herein and such bicycle is equipped with the lamps <br />and the other equipment required by this ordip~nce, and is <br />in safe operating condition." <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.12 Rental Agencies <br /> <br />A rental agency operating within the city limits of Lakewood <br />shall not rent or offer any bicycle for rent unless the <br />bicycle is licensed and a license plate or decal is attached <br />as provided herein and such bicycle is equipped with the <br />lamps and the other equipment required by this ordinance, <br />and is in safe operating condition. <br /> <br /> Section 11. That Section 773.15(d) of the Traffic Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading <br />ss follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.15 Riding on Streets, Bicycle Paths or Sidewalks <br /> <br />".(d) Any person operating a bicycle shall ride upon. the <br />sidewalk rather than the roadway when sidewalks are available <br />and not congested with pedestrian traffic. If the sidewalk <br />is congested with pedestrian traffic, the bicycle operator <br />using the sidewalk shall walk the bicycle, At no time shall <br />a bicyclist under the age of five operate a bicycle on a <br />street." <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 773.15 Riding on Streets, Bicycle Paths or Sidewalks <br /> <br />(d) Any person'operating'~'~cycte~ay~ride~u?°Dthe <br />sidewalk rather than the roadway when sidewalks are available <br />and not congested with pedestrian traffic.
