(c) Such permit may not be used for the parking <br />of an automobile in any metered space on the public <br />streets of the City of Lakewood. It shall be <br />applicable only to off-street parking lots. <br /> <br />Section 353°08 Fees and Permit: Periods <br /> <br />(a) The fee for each permit issued under the pro- <br />visions of this chapter and for each renewal thereof <br />shall be Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each permit <br />period. Permit periods shall be for six (6) months, <br />expiring on June 30 and December 31 in any year. <br />When a permit is issued after the first day of ani <br />permit period, the amount of the fee shall be pro- <br />rated for the unexpired days remaining in said <br />period° at the rate of Two Dollars ($2.00) per week. <br /> <br />(b) The fee for each transfer or replacement permit <br />shall be One Dollar ($1.00). <br /> <br />Section 353.09 Affixing the Permit <br /> <br />The holder of a permit issued pursuant to this chapter <br />shall affix it to the automobile described in his <br />application, in a position on the inside of the rear <br />window so it will be plainly visible from the outside. <br />Such permit shall at all times be affixed as herein <br />provided. <br /> <br />Section 353.10 Revocation of Permit <br /> <br />The Director of Public Safety shall have authority <br />to revoke any permit for failure on the part of the <br />permit holder to comply with the provisions of this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />Section 353.11 Permit Fee Refund Not Permitted <br /> <br /> Once a permit has been issued hereunder, there shall <br /> be no refund of the permit fee to the permit holder, <br /> or his estate, in the event of death, removal of <br /> residence from the City or for any other reason <br /> whatsoever. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-third~ <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately lupon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br />Adopted: May 6, 1968 Robert E.
