Section 149.15 City's share of Hospitalization Insurance. <br /> <br />(a) For the purpose~ of this section, a City employee <br /> shall be defined as any employee of Lakewood Municipal <br /> Court and any employee of the City of Lakewood who has <br /> completed sixty days of continuous service for the City, <br /> but shall exclude members of Council, employees of <br /> Lakewood Hospital, temporary employees, seasonal em- <br /> ployees, school guards, and public works inspectors. <br /> <br />(b) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay <br /> out of City funds up to thirty dollars ($30.00) Der <br /> month toward hospitalization coverage of each member <br /> of the Division of Fire, payable monthly or semi- <br /> annually at the discretion of the Director of Finance. <br /> <br />(c) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay <br /> out of City funds up to thirty-seven dollars ($37.00) <br /> per month toward hospitalization coverage of each mem- <br /> ber of the Division of Police, payable monthly or semm- <br /> annually at the discretion of the Director of Finance. <br /> <br />(d) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay out <br /> of City funds up to thirty-nine dollars and seventy- <br /> three cents ($39.73) per month toward hospitalization <br /> coverage of all other City employees, payable monthly <br /> or semi-annually at the discretion of the Director of <br /> Finance. <br /> <br /> (e) The payment by the City shall be from the following <br /> funds: <br /> (1) Seventy-five percent from the General Fund. <br /> (2) Thirteen percent from the Street Construction, <br /> Maintenance and Repair Fund. <br /> (3) Five percent from the Sewage Disposal Operating <br /> Fund. <br /> (4) Six percent from the Water Department Fund. <br /> (5) One-half percent from the Parking Meter-Fund. <br /> (6) One-half percent from the Parking Garage Fund. <br /> Section 2. That 'this ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, and is approved by the Mayor, it shall <br />take effect and be in force as of March 1, 1971 and exist- <br />ing Section 149.1g '~f the Codified ordinances of the City of Lake- <br />wood is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> ~Y'~L/ ~~~=-~~'~/ Presid .e..~n~ ,, <br /> <br />Acting Mayor /' <br /> <br /> <br />
