A~NDI~D ORDINANCE NO. 48-71 BY: Messrs. Graber, Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE providing a rate schedule for the use of the auditorium and other facilities in the Municipal Departments and Administration Building. WHEREAS, This ordinance provides for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY TH~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That the following rates shall be charged local organizations and individuals for the use of the various rooms in the Municipal Departments and Administration Building: 9AM~5PM 5pM-lAM 9AM-SPM 5PM-lAM Mort. Entire Auditorium Per Section AuditoriumKitchen Basement Room Basement Kitchen $60.00 $60.00 $75.00 $75.00 15.00 15.00 2o.oo 20.00 15.00 15.00 20.00 20.00 15.00 15.00 20.00 20.00 7.50 7.50 10.00 10.00 In addition to the above rates, a charge shall be made on weekends to cover guard service at the hourly rate paid to such guards. Use of the said premises shall be limited to. organizations whose membership consist of more than 50% of Lakewood residents. A discount of 25% shall be given to any organization holding 9 or more meetings in any one calendar year. Section 2. That the rental of said premises s~al'l be subject to the following rules: In case premises, or any part thereof, shall'be destroyed by fire or damaged by fire or any other cause or if any casualty or unforseen occurrence shall render the fulfilment of the rental agreement by City impossible, the City shall not in any case be held liable or responsible to rentor for any damage caused by such failure to have premises available.~ That in renting the said premises, City does not relinquish the right to continue the management of the premises and to enforce all necessary and proper rules for the regulation and operation of same. City shall furnish electricity, heat and hot and cold running water. Rentor 'agrees that it, its members and guests, shall abide by, conform tO and comply with all laws of:the United States and the State of Ohio, and all ordi- nances of the City, and the rules and regulations of City for the government and management of premises, together with all rules and regulations of the police and fire departments of the City, and will not do, or suffer to be done, any- thing on premises in violation of such rules., laws or ordinances. If City officials call rentor's attention to violation of any of the provisions of this paragraph, rentor will immediately desist from and correct such violation. Rentor will not injure or mar, nor in any manner deface premises, and shall not cause or permit anything to be done whereby said premises shall be in any manner marred or'defaced, mor shall rentor drive or permit to be driven any nails, hooks, tacks or screws, or any similar items, in any part of said premises, or any part of the building. Nor shall it make or permit to be made any altera- tion of any kind therein.
