B. That' said Municipality hereby proDOscs to cooperate with the County and <br /> the Director of Highways, State of Ohio,in the cost of thc above de- <br /> scribed installation project as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) By preparation of the traffic control device plans and specifications <br /> for the installation of this project; <br /> <br /> (b) By participation in the project cost to the extent of installation <br /> supervision and installation inspection costs; <br /> <br /> (c) By preparation of the evaluation study of the project if required <br /> as provided by Pt$1 21-18, Section l0 "Evaluation"; and <br /> <br /> (d) By participation of One hundred percent (lO0~) of the cost of any <br /> property damage resulting from this installation project, all within <br /> the Municipal limits.. <br /> <br />Section III (AUthority to Sign) ~' <br /> <br /> That the Mayor of said Municipality is hereby authorized to enter into <br />maintenance and parking agreements and special contractual obligations. <br />Section' IV (Maintenance of Parking) <br /> <br /> That upon completion of said installation project said Municipality will <br />thereafter keep said art'erials open to traffic at all times,, and <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Maintain the installation project in accordance with the provisions <br />of the statutes relating thereto and make ample financial provisions <br />for such maintenance. <br /> <br />If the project is financed as a TOPICS project: <br /> <br />(1) The County and State shall not be obligated to proceed with the <br /> installation of the project, or any part thereof, unless the <br /> Municipality has a traffic engineering unit as required by PPM <br /> 21-18 or has made other arrangements acceptable to the County, th. <br /> State, and the Federal 5ighway Administration to assure the prope <br /> maintenance and operation of the traffic operations improvements <br /> installed, and the Municipality will maintain necessary and adequ <br /> regulations for the maintenance of efficient operations of the <br /> street in accordance witlh the intent of the plans for the project <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
