it being understood that ~.f the Mu;]icipality fails to full'ill <br /> its obligation with respect to such maintenance, operation and <br /> regulation, such failure will disqualify the Municipclity from <br /> future Federal-Aid participation on projects for which the <br /> Municipality has maintenance responsibility until such time as <br /> arrangements satisfactory to the County and State have been made, <br /> and the traffic oPerations improvements are brought to a <br /> satisfactory condition of maintenance and operation; and <br /> <br />(2)The traffic engineering unit shall have authority for the establish- <br /> <br /> .merit of parking controls, bus stops, loading zones, driveways <br /> and.traffic patterns, or if the traffic engineering unit is not <br /> delegated such authority, the Municipality will consider the <br /> <br /> written advice of the traffic engineering unit in such matters, <br /> .. <br /> <br />and in the event the Municipality elects to proceed contrary <br />to the written advice of the traffic engi::eering unit any <br />proposed revisions will be submitted to the County and State <br />for prior review and comment, or if the Municipality does not <br />have a traffic engineering unit and has made other arrangements <br />approved by the County and State to assure the proper maintenance <br />and operation of-'the traffic operations improvements, any <br />proposed changes in planned traffic patterns and operation and <br />in traffic regulations will be submitted to the County and <br />State for prior review and. comments <br />Maintain the right-of-way and keep it free of obstructions in a manner <br />satisfactory to the County and the State, and hold said right-of-way <br />inviolate for public highway purposes and permit no signs, posters, <br />billboards, roadside stands or other private installations within <br />the right-of-way limits; and <br /> <br />Prohibit parking within the limits of the installation project under <br />this ordinance, within the corporate limits of the Municipality; and <br />No rule or regulation shall be enacted restricting the use of the <br />arterial by any class of vehicle or. vehicle load permitted by the <br /> <br />Ohio Revised Code to use a public highway. Any existing rule or regu- <br />lation so restricting road usage is hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
