battery, coil, spring,.gas or oil tank, bell or any signal device,
<br /> ~speedometer, license.number, horn, box, basket, trunk or carrier,
<br /> shield, hood, oiler, gauge, grease cup, chain, lock nut, bracket,
<br /> valve, bolt, rod, cap, screw, wire, spark plug, carburetor, magneto,
<br /> pipe, fan, belt, cylinder, switch, brake, electric bulbs, or any
<br /> device, emblem or monogram thereon, any attachment, fastening, or
<br /> other appurtenance, or any part attached to the motor vehicle which
<br /> is necessary in the use, control~ repair or operation thereof.
<br />
<br /> (b) No person shall knowingly buy, receive or have in his possession
<br /> any of such unlawfully removed articles or any part thereof°
<br />
<br /> (¢) Whoever violates this Section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the
<br /> first degree.
<br />
<br /> Section 8. That Section 339.99 of the Traffic Code of the Codified
<br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood be and the same is hereby enacted to read
<br />as follows:

<br /> Section 9o That Section 351.99 of the Traffic Code of the Codified
<br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood be and the same is hereby enacted to read
<br />as follows:
<br />
<br /> SECTION 351.99 PENALTY AND WAIVER
<br />
<br /> (a) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter for which
<br /> no penalty is otherwise provided shall be subject to the penalties
<br /> provided by Section 303.99. In addition thereto such parking in
<br /> violation of Section 351.18 is hereby determined to constitUte a
<br /> 'nUisance and within twenty-four hours after oral or written notice
<br /> to do so delivered by any police officer to the owner or per~on
<br /> having possession or control of such vehicle, personally, or by
<br /> written notice delivered to the residence of such person, or if
<br /> such person has no place of residence in the City or if such place
<br /> of residence cannot'be found with reasonable diligence, then after
<br /> such written notice is attached to the vehicle, such owner or person
<br /> shall cause such vehicle to be removed from the streets° Upon failure
<br /> of such owner or person to so remove such vehicle, the Division of
<br /> Police and each officer thereof is hereby authorized to remove or cause
<br /> any vehicle so parked to be removed from the street and stored.
<br />
<br />(b) Whoever violates any of the provisions of subparagraphs (a), (b)
<br />and (c) of Section 355.06, or Chapter 353 may, in lieu of other penalties
<br />provided for the violation of such provisions and upon signing a waiver,
<br />be fined two dollars ($2.00), if suc~ violator pays such fine at the
<br />Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail, within forty-eight hours, or, if
<br />not within forty-eight hours, then in the sum of five dollars ($5.00)
<br />if such violator pays such amount at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by
<br />mail, within seventy-two hours from the time of violation. In the event
<br />such violator does not pay the fine as hereinbefore provided, then a
<br />.warrant shall be issued and such violator shall be subject to the penalties
<br />otherwise provided for the violation of such provisions.
<br />
<br /> Whoever violates Sections 351.01 through 351.18, subparagraphs
<br />(b) and (c) of 351.20, Section 351.23, or Section 351.27 may, in lieu
<br />of the other penalties provided for the violation of such sections
<br />and upon signing a waiver, be fined five dollars ($5.00) if such
<br />violator pays such fine at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail,
<br />within forty-eight hours, or, if not within forty-eight hours, then
<br />~n the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) if such violator pays such amount
<br />at the Traffic Bureau, in person or by mail, within seventy-two hours
<br />from the time of violation. In the event such violator does not pay the
<br />fine as hereinbefore provided, then a warrant shall be issued and ~;uch
<br />vlolator shall be s6bJect to the penalties otherwise provided for the
<br />violation of such provisions.
