McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Brockman, Chinnock, Graber, Magnotto AN EM];RGENCY ORDINANCE to amend paragraphs (b) and (c) of Section 149.07 of the Administrative Code of the Codified O~dinances of the City of Lakewood. relating to longevity compensation for members of the Division of Fire and the Division of Police of the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIiE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That paragraphs (b) and (c) of Section 149.07 of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: Section 149.07 LONGEVITY OOHPENSATION. (b) Divisfon of ~ire. Full-time permanent employees of t~ Division of Fire shall be paid, in addition to such salary or compensation that may be provided by any other ordinance, additional compensation based on the number of continuous ful! years of service, including interim rMlitary service, as determined on thc dates of June 15 and December 15 of each year in accordance with the following schedule: (1) For five years through n~ne years of service ............. $75.00 (2) For ten years through fourteen years of service .......... 100 .00 (3) For fifteen years through nineteen years of service ...... 125.00 (4) For twenty years through twenty-four years of sca-vice .... 200.00 (5) For twenty five years or more ............................ 250.00 (c) Dlvlntnn of Pnllce. Full-time pemnanent employees of the Division of Fire shall be paid semi-annually, in the months of June and December, in addition to such salary or compensation that may be provided by any other ordinance, additional compensation based on the number of continuous fnl.1 years of service, including interim military service, as determined (m the dates of June 15 and December 15 of each year, in semL-annual payments as follows: (l) For five years through nine years of service ........... $100.00 (2) For ten years through fourteen years of service ........ $125.00 (3) For fifteen years through nineteen years of service .... $1.50.00 (4) For twenty years through twenty-four years of service..$225.00 (5) For twenty five years or more .......................... $275.00
