-3- <br /> <br />property or constitute a regular record of any court, if such record, <br />document, plat, court file, paper or instrument is not less than one <br />year old, does not pertain to any pending case, claim or action and <br />no longer has any value, historical or otherwise. <br /> <br />143~05 RESOLUTION TODESTROYRECORDS AND PROCED~ <br /> <br /> When City Records have been approved by disposal by resolution <br />of the City Records Comuission, a list of such records ~hall be sent <br />the Bureau of Inspection and supervision of public offices of the <br />Auditor of State. If said Bureau disapproves the actions of the City <br />Records Con~ission in whole or in part, it shall so inform the Conrnission <br />within a period of sixty (60) days. Before records are otherwise disposed <br />of, the Ohio Historical Society shall be informed and given the opportufiity <br />for a period of sixty (60) days to select for its custody or disposal <br />such records as it may dee~ to'be of continual historical value. <br /> <br />143.06 AUTHORITY OF COMMISSION <br /> <br /> The Conrsission may revise, alter, approve, or reject any schedule <br />and application or portion therof and may designate transfer and disposal <br />dates and methods of disposal of records when such are not specifically <br />provided forby law. <br /> No order of the Con~nission to destroy or otherwise dispose of any <br />records is valid unless it is agreed to by each such member of the <br />Con~nission eligible to act under this section, reduced to written form <br />and signed by each member. <br /> <br />143.07 COMPLI~ Rt~UIRED <br /> <br /> No person having the custody of any records shall transfer, destroy <br />or otherwise dispose of them, or procure of permit the transfer, <br />destruction or other disposition of th~mwihtout complying with this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />143.99 PENALTY <br /> <br /> ~oever violates any provision of this Chapter 143 is <br />a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. <br /> <br />guilty of <br /> <br /> Section 2.
