1309.07 COMBINATION PEP~T FEE. No%withstanding any other provisions of this ~chapter, a home owner who occupies the .premises wherein the work is to be performed .may obtain a .combination permit fee of three dollars ($3.00) to cover all alterations, remodeling, plumbing electrical or heating, work, Provided the value'of such work shall not exceed a total of t~o hundred fifty dollars ($250.00). (.Ord~ 29-71. Passed 6-21-71.) 1309.08 AGGREGATE FLOOR ~ DEFINED~. For th~ purposes of this chapte~ "aggregate floor area" means the sum of the gross horizontal areas at he several floors, including basements, cellars and attics that are at least fifty-percent (50%) habitable. All horizontal dimensions shall be taken from the exterior faces of walls, including enclosed porches. (Ord. 29-71. Passed 6-21-71.) 1309.09 COST ESTIP~tTES. Where the permit is based upon cost of the work done under the permit, such costs shall be the actual cost as certified by the owner or authorized rePresentative of the owner, and as approved by the Building Conraissioner. The Building Commissioner may, at any tim~ up to three months after the completion of the work, require the sub- mission of authoritative estimates, or actual cos~ data to substantiate the estimated cost stated in th~ .application, and require the paymant of additional fees when it is demonstrated that the actual cost of the work is in excess of the estimated cost upon which Permit fees ~re based. (Ord, 29-71. Passed 6-21-71.) 1309.10 ADDITIONAL INSPECTION FEES. (a) Whenever an inspection has been requested and the work is found to be incomplete or in need of correctionS, there s4%~11 be charged a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for each subsequent reinspection. (b) Whenever a special inspection, not a routine inspection of work being done under a permit, is requested there shall be charged an inspection fee of five dollars ($5.00). The fees to be paid for building permits shall be determined by the Building Commissioner in accordance with the following schedule and shall be noted upon the appticaticn when-approved for the issuing of the permit~ Such fees are to be paid to the Permit Clerk who upon receipt of such fees shall issue the permit to the applicant. The fees to be paid shall be as are provided in this chapter. (Ord. 29-71. Passed 6-21-71.) 1309 . 02 BUILDING PERMIT FEES a) New Buildings and Structures 1) Up to 2,000 square feet of aggregate floor area, minimum fee $ 50.00 2) For every 100 square feet of aggregate floor area or part thereof for residential use in excess of 2,000 square feet 3) For every 100 square feet of aggregate floor area or part thereof for co~nercial, industrial, retail or apar~nent house use in excess of 2,000 square feet b) For all new additions and alterations which change the height, area, classification or grade of the building 1) From no additional floor area and up to 1,000 square feet of aggregate floor area, minimum fee 2) For every 100 ~square feet of aggregate floor area or part thereof for residential use, in excess of 100 square feet 3) For every 100 square feet of aggregate floor area or part thereof for co~nsrcial, industrial, retail or apartment house use in excess of 100 square feet 2.00 4.00 10.00 2.00 4.00
