<br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend and supplement the Housing Code
<br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood as herein described.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing
<br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department and providing for the
<br />immediate preservation of public peace, property, health and safety; now,
<br />therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF
<br />
<br />OHIO:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That Section 1305.07(t) of the Building Code of the
<br />Codified Ordinances now reading as follows:
<br />
<br />1305.07(t) DEFINITIONS
<br />
<br />(t) "Plumbing" means and includes all of the following supplied
<br />facilities and equipment: gas pipes, gas-burning equipment, water
<br />pipes, garbage disposal units, waste pipes, water closets, sinks,
<br />installed dishwashers, lavatories, bathtubs, shower baths, installed
<br />clothes-washing machines, catch basins, drains, vents, and any
<br />other similar supplied fixtures, together with all connections to
<br />water, sewer or gas lines.

<br />Codified Ordinances now reading as follows: 1305.O7(v) DEFINITIONS
<br /> (~} "Rooming house" means any dwelling or part of any dwelling
<br /> which is lawfully in existence and established prior to the date of
<br /> the adoption of this Code, which contains one or more rooming
<br /> units, or any part thereof, in which space is let by the owner or
<br /> operator, who resides in the dwelling~ to three or more persons
<br /> who are not husband or wife, son or daughter, father or mother, or
<br /> sister or brother of the owner or operator or in which space is
<br /> let to one or more persons by an owner or operator who does not
<br /> reside in the dwelling. The term as defined includes foster homes,
<br /> motels and hotels.
