Section 3. That Section 1305.10 of the Building Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances now reading as follows: <br /> <br />1305.10 BASIC SANITARY FACILITIES <br /> <br />No owner, operator or agent shall occupy, maintain or lease or <br />offer for rental or lease any dwelling or dwelling unit unless <br />such dwelling or dwelling unit shall be provided with not less <br />than the following sanitary facilities which shall afford privacy <br />to any occupant thereof: <br /> <br />(a) A room which is equipped with a flush water closet and <br />lavatory basin in good working condition, except as otherwise <br />provided in Section 1305.11. <br /> <br />(b) A bathtub or shower, except as otherwise'provided in <br />Section 1305.11. <br /> <br />(c) Every dwelling unit shall be provided with one, and one only, <br />complete kitchen or kitchenette with approved cooking and regrigera- <br />tion connections and sink facilities. That Section 1305.15(e) of the Buildi~ng Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances now reading as follows: <br /> <br />1305.15 (e) HABITABLE FLOOR AREA STANDARDS <br /> <br />(e) No cellar space shall be used as a habitable room or dwelling <br />unit. <br /> <br />be and the same rs hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 1305.~5(e} HABITABLE FLOOR AREA STANDARDS <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />No cellar space shall be used as a habitable room or <br />dwelling unit unless it conforms to all of the following <br />standards in addition to all other requirements to this Code <br />for habitable rooms: <br /> <br />i. The room shall have been, prior to the effective date <br />of this code, originally designed and constructed, or legally <br />converted to use as a habitable room. <br /> <br /> <br />
