A change from one occupancy classification to <br />another occupancy classification. However, change of occupancy is also <br />intended to include a change of tenants or proprietors occupying retail <br />space. <br /> <br />RDC Chapter 43, Section 1643~1 to 1643.57 SIGNS (Repealed) <br /> <br />Sections 1643.O1 to 1643.57 are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />RBC 1651.10(9) UNDERGROUND TANKS OUTSIDE BUILDINGS (Amended) <br /> <br />g) Discontln~ing the Use of Underground Tanks. It shall be unlawful <br />for the owner or operator of any gasoline filling station, or owner <br />or operator of any other business which requires the use of gasoline <br />or fuel oil storage tanks, to discontinue the use of such tanks or <br />abandon such tanks without first giving at least 5 days notice of an <br />intention so to do, to the Chief of the Fire Department. Ail under- <br />ground storage tanks upon their abandonment for a period of 3 months <br />shall be removed. <br /> <br />RBC 1665.80(d) EMERGENCY LIGHTING (Amended) <br /> <br /> d) Requirements for Assemblies and Stores. In places where more <br /> than 500 persons may assemble and for stores, any floor above or below <br /> the ground floor and having a floor area of more than 5,000 square <br /> feet at any floor level, emergency lighting for all exitways shall <br /> be served from an approved source which conforms to the requirements <br /> of the National Electrical Code, for current supply for emergency <br /> lighting and is either from a service main served by a generating <br /> station or high tension source independent of that supplying the ser- <br /> vice main utilized for general illumination, heat, or power, or is a <br /> source independent of the public supply. <br /> <br /> RBC 1683~21 FENCES (Repealed) <br /> <br /> Section 1683.21 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> RBC 1689.O4 to 1689.68 PLUMBING (Repealed) <br /> <br /> Section 1689.O4 to 1689.68 is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> RBC 1689.72 APPROVED STANDARDS FOR INSTALLATION (Amended) <br /> <br /> All gas piping to and in buildings and all gas appliances shall b~ <br />designed, constructed and installed in conformity with accepted engineering <br />practice. Compliance with the provisions of this Code or Chapter 95 of the <br />RDH Code, or the statutes or regulations promulgated by authority of statute, <br />or compliance with the several American Standards and Requirements for Gas Piping <br />and Gas Burnln9 Appliances, published under the ASA designation Z21 and more <br />completely identified in Chapter 7 of this Code or the same as may be amended <br />from time to tim&; shall be prima-facie evidence of conforming to accepted <br />engineering practice. <br /> <br /> <br />
