ORD I NANCE NO, 47-80 BY: Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling, Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to supplement Section 1301.O4 of the Regional Dwelling House Code of the Building Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to amend, repeal or enact certain sections of the Regional Dwelling House Code. WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a-municipal department; now, therefore, BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 1301.O4 of the Regional Dwelling House Code of the Building Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood be supplemented by amending, repealing or enacting certain sections of the Regional Dwelling House Code as follows: RDH 1503.10, Chapter l, Non-Structural'Alterations (Amended) When the cost of alterations or repairs within any two (2) year period exceeds seventy-five per-;cent (75%) of the value of the existing building or other structure, such building or other structure shall be made to comply with the requirements for new buildings and other new struc- tures. RDH 1505.02, Application (Amended) An application for a permit Shall be filed with the Building Official on a form prescribed by the Building Official by the person, cor- poration, partnership, firm or other business association who shall perform the work for which the permit was sought. RDH 1505.08, Time Limitation (Amended) Any permit issued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by it shall have been commenced within three (3) months after its issuance. Any permit issued shall become invalid if the work authorized by it is not completed within six (6) months after its issuance. The Building Official, for good cause as evidenced by a written request by the permit holder, may grant up to four (4) extensions of time for either of the above not exceeding ninety (90) days each. RDH Chapter 15, Registration, Licensing and Certificates of Qualification (Repealed) Sections 1515.Ol to 1515.15 are hereby repealed. RDH 1517.O3 Letter "B" Building Line (Amended) Building Line - A li~e established by law or agreement, usually parallel to the property, beyond which a structure may not extend. RDH 1521.O1 Application (Amended) Standard specifications, codes, and other standard requirements, rules, regulations or recommendations mentioned ~n any section of this dwelling ;
