shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.20 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE <br /> <br />la) Commencing April 1, 1981, in addition to such sala~ or compen- <br />sation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall <br />be paid the sum of one hundred twenty five ($125~00)to employees <br />in Group One, and one hundred dollars ($100.00)! to employees in <br />Group Two, and forty dollars ($40.00) to employees in Group Three <br />holding the positions hereinafter designated, and who are not furnished <br />City owned vehicles for their use in the performance of their duties: <br /> <br />(1) Group One <br /> <br />(a) Building Inspectors <br /> <br />(2) Group Two <br /> <br />(a) Sanitary officers in the Division of Health <br />(b) OutreaCh Workers <br />(c) Visiting Nurses <br />(d) Building Commissioner <br />(e) Asst. Building Commissioner <br />(f) Asst. Commissioner for Housing <br /> <br />(3) Group Three <br /> <br />(a) Home Health Aide <br />(b) Meter Readers <br />(c) Health Commissioner <br />(d) Planning Director <br /> <br />(b) Comm~n¢~iD:g April l, 1981, in addition to such salary or <br />compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there shall <br />be paid to those employees of the City, and volunteers of Lakewood <br />Office on Aging, who are required to use their personal automobile <br />in carrying out their duties on behalf of the City of Lakewood, other <br />than those City employees set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance, <br />a mileage allowance of $0.15 per mile; provided however, that such <br />personal car use shall be approved by the appropriate department <br />head and provided further that, when applicable, such allowance shall <br />not exceed the cost of round trip coach air fare for such trip. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, and is <br />approved by the Mayor, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor, and existing Section 149,20 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, adopted March 19, 1980, shall be <br />and the same is hereby repealed as of said date. <br /> <br />Approved:~ ~/ /~/ <br /> <br /> <br />
