Section 5. Procedure. <br /> T ~t ~ine (9) members of the Board shall constitute a quorum <br />for tlc conduct of business. The members of the Board shall <br />ragutariv attend meetings and public hearings of the Board and <br />shall se~\~a without compensation. <br /> The Board shall hold an organizational meeting in April <br />of each year and shall elect a Chairman and Vice-Chairman from <br />among its members before proceeding to any other matters of <br />business. The Board snalt meet regularly and shall ~esignate <br />the time and place of its meetings. <br /> The Board shall adopt its own rules of procedure and <br />keep a record of its proceedings. Newly appointed members <br />shall be installed at the first regular meeting after their <br />appointment. <br /> In order to accomplish its responsibilities, the Boar~ <br />shall establish sub~committees including, but not limited to, <br />the areas of Business and Industry, Co~]unications, Neigl%borhood <br />Associations, Community Organizations, M% licipat Operations, <br />and Sc~ools · <br /> Each sub-committee will be chaired by a Lakewood Clean <br /> Co!~unity Board member w~th an unspecified number of community <br /> volunteers chosen by the Board as working sub-committee staff. <br /> Section 6.
