Section 7. That Section 1237.08 of the Condominium Chapter of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows' <br /> <br />1327.08 Equal Opportunity. <br /> <br />No person shall be denied the right to purchase or lease a condo- <br />minium unit in the City because of race, color, creed, sex, <br />religious beliefs or national Origin. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended t° read as follows: <br /> <br />1327.08 Equal Opportuni,tY' <br /> <br />No person shall be denied the 'right to purchase or lease a condo- <br />miniun unit in the City because or race, color, creed, sex, <br />religious beliefs, national origin, or physical handicap. <br /> <br /> Section 8. It is found, and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the adoption cf this Ordin~ance were adopted <br />in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this <br />Council and of any of its cc~mittees that .resulted in such formal actions were <br />in meetings open to the public, in conpliance with all legal requirements includ- <br />ing Section 121,22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect md be in force inmediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Nayor, and existing Sections 516.01, Paragraph (e) of Section 516.03, Section <br />516.04, Section 516.05, Section 516.06, Paragraph (b) of Section 516.07, and <br />Section 1327.08 are hereby repealed at that time. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
