(Upon adoption of this amended Section, the existing <br />Article III, Section 7 of the Amended Charter of the City of <br />Lakewood'shall be repealed.) <br /> <br />be submitted to a vote of the qualified electors of the City at the <br />general election to be held on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November, 1981 at <br />the regular places of voting in the City and during the usual hours for <br />holding elections as provided in the general laws of the Stat~ of Ohio. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the ballot submitting the question of the <br />adoption of the foregoing proposed amendment shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "PROPOSED <br />CHARTER AMENDMENT <br />CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO <br /> <br />Shall the proposed amendment of Article III, Section 7 of the <br />Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, Ohio: <br /> <br />SECTION ?. CLERK, VICE PRESIDENT AND OTHER OFFICERS OF <br />COUNCIL. <br /> <br /> The Council shall choose a Clerk and such other officers <br />and employees as are necessary~ The Clerk shall keep the <br />racords of the Council and perform such other duties as may be <br />required by this Charter or any ordinance or resolution of <br />Council. Ail officers, other than the Vice President of <br />Council, and employees so chosen under this section of the <br />Charter shall serve at the pleasure of the Counczl~ <br /> <br /> Pursuant to Section 4 of Article III of this Charter, the <br />Counczl shall elect, by a majority vote of its members, a Vice <br />President of Council.
