provided sa~d residents qualify for such exemption <br />under rules and regulations as shall be established <br />by the Director of Public Safety and approved by Counct] <br />relating thereto. Applications for such exemptions shall <br />be filed wtth the Director of Public Safety who may <br />tssue a parking permtt for any motor vehicle owned by a <br />qualified applicant. A fee of five dollars ($5.00) shall be <br />charged for each permit issued hereunder and said permtt <br />shall expire on June 30 followtng the date of ~ssuance. <br />Fhere shall be no proration of the permtt fee re- <br />quired herein. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It ts found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating To the passage of th~s Ordinance <br />were adopted tn an open meeting of this Council. and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of ~ts commtttees that resulted tn <br />such formal action, were in meetings open to the public tn compliance <br />with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of' all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force tmmediately upon <br />tts adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect <br />and be in force after the earliest pertod allowed by law, and extsting <br />Paragraph (c) of Section 351.21 of the Traffic Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood iS hereby repealed at such time. <br /> <br />Approved <br /> <br /> <br />
