"1982 Project" means the following improvements to and enlargements of the Issuer's existing general hospital facilities, costs of which are to be financed from the pro- ceeds of the Series 1982 Bonds: The expansion and remodeling of most ancillary and patient care areas, and the conversion of ten (10) medical/surgical beds to intensive care beds, including the following: (a) construction of a new on-grade entrance and lobby, (b) construction of expanded space for biometrics, pulmonary functions, physical therapy and occupa- tional therapy, (c) construction of expanded radiology facilities and expansion and remodeling of emergency room area providing improved vehicle access and expanded waiting room space, (d) construction of new facilities for intensive and coronary care units and the conversion of medical/surgical beds to step-down beds for a medical/surgical intensive care unit and coronary care unit, (e) renovation and updating of existing operating rooms, construction to enlarge recovery room area and expand waiting room space, (f) renovation and relocation of virtually all other Hospital departments with the exception of patient care rooms. The areas being reno-~ vated and relocated include: administrative offices, con-. ference rooms, medical records area, kitchen and cafeteria, medical library, laboratory areas, purchasing and central store areas, patient admitting area, pharmacy, community relations and personnel and employment offices. The Series 1982 Project will result in construction of approximately 88,000 new square feet and renovation of approximately 77,000 square feet of existing space. "Pledged Revenues" means all revenues derived by the Issuer from the operation of the Hospital Facilities or from leasing or contracting for the operation thereof, including any such revenues held at any time in any Special Fund. -4-
