to meet the City's obligations under the Xerox Contract and the <br />RITA Contract for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1984. The amount <br />of the City's obligation under the Xerox Contract and the RITA Contract <br />remaining unpaid at the end of said fiscal year and which will become <br />payable during succeeding fiscal years, shall be included in the annual <br />appropriation measures for the succeeding years as a fixed charge, <br />provided that all such appropriations shall not exceed the maximum sum <br />set forth in this Section, as such maximum sum may be subsequently <br />increased by this Council. .The expected maximum amount to be paid by <br />the City under the RITA Contract is: none. The City is purchasing a <br />license for the use of the System from Xerox and data processing and <br />financial management services to be provided to the City by RITA, which <br />license and services are more fully described in the RITA Contract and <br />Xerox .Contract, forms of which are now on file with the Clerk of the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Section 5. It is found and determined that all formal actions <br />of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br />were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal action, were in meetings open to the Public, in compliance <br />with all legal requirements including the City's Charter and Codified <br />Ordinances and Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> Section 6. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emer- <br />gency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, property, health, safety and welfare in the City for the reasons <br />set forth and defined in the preamble to this ordinance, and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected <br />to Council, this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption by the Council and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, <br />it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed <br />by law. <br /> <br />DKC2-K* <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
