over RITA's computer hardware, provided that no such changes, additions <br />or deletions shall be such as to violate the terms of this Section 3 or <br />the specifications set forth in the Xerox Agreement. <br /> <br /> 4. RITA will provide data processing services to Lakewood <br />using the System, for no additional charge (other than the cost of <br />installation, modems, if used and monthly charges for telephone lines <br />between Lakewood and RITA) from the date hereof through December 31, <br />1989, and thereafter at the lowest rates therefor charged by RITA to its <br />other governmental customers for similar data processing services, <br />except as provided in Section llC(ii) hereof. Lakewood shall receive <br />first priority for on-line processing when its data is provided in <br />machine-readable form to RITA on a timely basis. RITA agrees to provide <br />all usual and customary support for the System using RITA personnel, and <br />to keep in effect during the term hereof the Xerox Malntehance and <br />Support Agreement (attached to the Xerox Agreement as Attachment C) or a <br />similar maintenance agreement meeting the standards for Xerox mainte- <br />nance as set forth in the Maintenance and Support Agreement, so long as <br />Lakewood makes payment therefor through January 31, 1990, unless this <br />Agreement is earlier terminated as provided herein. <br /> <br /> 5. RITA may make such modifications to the System as it may <br />deem necessary in order to best provide data processing services to its <br />users, including Lakewood, provided however that RITA shall not modify <br />the core programs of the System so as to make the System ineligible for <br />Xerox maintenance. Any such modifications may be offered to RITA users <br />and sublicensees as a distinct subsystem so as not to affect the System <br />used by Lakewood unless Lakewood requests integration of such <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br /> <br />
