Section 2. That paragraph (a) of Section 373.06 of the Traffic Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: <br /> <br />373.06 ISSUANCE OF LICENSE. <br /> <br /> (a) The Chief of Police upon receipt of the proper <br />application accompanied by the required fee, is authorized <br />to issue a bicycle license which shall be effective for a <br />period of not to exceed five years. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />373.06 ISSUANCE OF LICENSE. <br /> <br /> (a) The Chief of Police upon receipt of the proper <br />application accompanied by the required fee, is authorized <br />to issue a bicycle license which shall be effective for as <br />long as the applicant remains the owner of said bicycle. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That paragraph (eD of Section 373.08 of the Traffic Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: <br /> <br />383.08 ATTACHMENT OF LICENSE PLATES OR DECALS. <br /> <br /> (bD . . . <br /> (c) . . <br /> (d) . <br /> (eD In ~he event the icense plate or decal is lost, <br />defaced or destroyed, the Chief of Police when satisfied <br />of such fact shall issue a new license plate or decal upon <br />application of the owner of such bicycle. A replacement <br />fee of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) shall be authoriz- <br />ed. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />373.08 ATTACHMENT OF LICENSE PLATES OR DECALS. <br /> <br /> (a) . <br /> (b) . ~ <br /> (c) .... <br /> (d) <br />(eD ~n ~he event the license plate or decal is lost, <br />defaced or destroyed, the Chief of Police when satisfied <br />of such fact shall issue a new license plate or decal upon <br />application of the owner of such bicycle. A replacement <br />fee of two dollars ($2.00D shall be authorized· <br /> <br /> Section 4. That Section 373.10 of the Traffic Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: <br /> <br />373.10 RENEWAL OF LICENSE. <br /> <br /> Upon the expiration of any bicycle license the same <br />may be renewed upon proper application and payment of the <br />authorized fee. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />373.10 REPLACEMENT OF LICENSE PLATE OR DECAL. <br /> <br />In the event a licensed bicycle is stolen and recovered, <br />and the license plate or decal is destroyed or defaced, <br />the owner shall be issued a new license plate or decal <br />without the payment, of a fee. <br /> <br /> <br />
