V. ANTI -DISCRIMINATION <br /> <br /> The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees that in the employment of labor, skilled <br /> <br />or unskilled, under this Agreement, there shall be no discrimination exercised <br />against any person because of race, color, religion or national origin, as <br />provided in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and that violation thereof <br />shall be deemed a material breach of said Agreement. <br /> <br /> VI. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> The COUNTY shall have the right to terminate this Agreement for any <br /> <br />reason subject to the following ~onditions. In the event that this Agreement is <br />terminated by the COUNTY, thirty (30) days advance written notice will be given <br />to the CONTRACTOR. The CONTRACTOR will provide all services required by this <br />Agreement to the date of termination. Under no circumstances will the COUNTY <br />be responsible for any type of penalty ipayment upon the cancellation of this <br />Agreement. The CONTRACTOR will, however, be paid for all services rendered to <br />the date of termination. <br /> <br /> VII. PROVISIONS CONCERNING CERTAIN WAIVERS <br /> <br /> Subject to applicable law, any right or remedy which the COUNTY may <br />have under this Agreement may be waived in writing by the COUNTY, if in the <br />judgement of the COUNTY, this Agreement, as modified, will still ~onform to the <br />terms and requirements of the pertinent laws. <br /> <br /> VIII. COUNTY NOT OBLIGATED TO THIRD PARTIES <br /> <br /> The COUNTY shall not be obligated or liable hereunder to any party <br /> <br />other than the CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br /> IX. MODIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> By the mutual written ~onsent of the COUNTY and the CONTRACTOR, this <br /> <br />Agreement may be modified whenever such modifications are deemed necessary. Any <br />such modifications to this Agreement shall be reduced to writing and signed by <br />both parties. <br /> <br />2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
