Section 1329.04(a). "W" means the <br />frontage of a building as defined <br />in Section 1329.04(b). <br /> <br />(2) Business Signs. Within permanent <br />business signs the area devoted to the <br />advertising of brand names of specific <br />products or services shall be limited to <br />twenty (20) percent of the maximum sign <br />face area. Business signs shall not be <br />located beyond the building face; <br />functional types of signs permitted in <br />front of the building face shall be <br />limited to bulletin boards, directional <br />signs, identification signs and informal <br />signs. <br /> <br />(3) Bulletin Board. One bulletin board <br />not exceeding thirty (30) square feet in <br />area or eight (8) feet in height may be <br />located on the premise of a public <br />charitable, or religious institution, <br />but not less than fifteen (15) feet from <br />a street right-of-way line; indirect <br />illumination shall be permitted. <br /> <br />(4) Canopy Sign. One canopy sign may <br />be attached to the soffit or facia of a <br />canopy over a walkway of each business <br />use, provided: The total area of one <br />face of the sign does not exceed five <br />(5) square feet, the vertical dimension <br />of the sign does not exceed twelve (12) <br />inches, and the lowest structural member <br />is not less than eight (8) feet above <br />the sidewalk grade. <br /> <br />(5) Development Sign. One temporary <br />development sign not exceeding fifty <br />(50) square feet in area and ten (10) <br />feet in height shall be permitted on the <br />lot upon which a building is under <br />construction. Signs shall be removed on <br />the issuance of a final occupancy permit <br />or one (1) year after the period is <br />issued whichever date occurs first. <br /> <br />(6) Directional Sign. Two directional <br />signs each not exceeding two (2) square <br />feet in area shall be permitted on any <br />building or lot, but not less than five <br />(5) feet from any lot or street right- <br />of-way line. <br /> <br />-12- <br /> <br /> <br />
