Please substitute for ordinance placed on 1st reading 4.~6-87 <br />and referred to Planning & Zoning Con~nittee. <br /> <br />placed on Second Reading on 9-8-87 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO, 40-87 <br /> <br />BY: Br~anlqa~h, iwne~¥AgGazzana, George, <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to supplement the Zoning Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood by enacting new Chapter 1106 - <br />Lagoon to establish standards which are compatible with the unique <br />geographical character of the Clifton Lagoon area. <br /> WHEREAS, this Council determines it to be in the best <br />interest of the city to establish zoning standards which are <br />compatible with the unique geographical character of the Clifton <br />Lagoon area; now therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City of Lakewood shall be and the same is hereby supplemented <br />by enacting new Chapter 1106 - Lagoon to read as follows: <br /> <br />Chapter 1106 <br /> <br />LAGOON DISTRICT <br /> <br />1106.01 General Provisions <br />1106.02 Permitted Principal Uses <br />1106.03 Permitted Accessory Uses <br />1106.04 Height Regulations <br />1106.05 Lot Area and Width <br /> <br />1106.06 Side Yard-Principal Uses <br />1106.07 Front Yard Regulations <br />1106.08 Off-Street Parking <br />1106.09 Maximum Lot Area Use <br />1106.10 Accessory Building Reg. <br /> <br />1106.01 General Provisions <br /> <br />The following regulations shall apply to all <br />in the Lagoon (L) District. .... <br /> <br />structures <br /> <br />1106.02 Permitted Principal USes <br /> <br />In the L District no building or premises shall be used <br />or established which is designed, arranged, or intended <br />for other than a single-family residence and/or boat <br />storage facility. For the purposes of this section, boat <br />storage facility shall mean a dock, platform or any other <br />means of boat dockage, whether enclosed or not. <br /> <br />The following uses are prohibited: commercially operated <br />boat storage~ rental, sales or service; boat stacking <br />systems~ food sales, and the dispensing, storage, or <br />sales of gasoline or other fuels. <br /> <br />1106.03 Permitted Accessory,Uses <br /> <br />The following accessory uses shall be permitted when <br />located on the same lot or parcel with a permitted <br />principal use: <br /> <br />(a) a garage 400 square feet regardless of the <br />requirements of Section 1106.09, provided, however, that <br />a garage may exceed such area if it complies with the <br />requirements of Section 1106.09. <br /> <br />(b) one rea]. estate sign not exceeding 5 square feet per <br />facing area, advertising only the property on which it is <br />located for sale or rent. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
