Page 2 <br /> <br />Several residents indicated the same concerns stated by Councilman <br />Gallagher. In addition, concern was expressed regarding the condition <br />of the water line. Director Kleinweber informed those present that a <br />new water line would be installed on Coutant Avenue prior to the <br />resurfacing project. <br /> <br />Mayor Sinagra informed the residents that parking restrictions could be <br />implemented and violators ticketed; however, these same restrictions <br />would apply to residents. Mayor Sinagra also indicated that he would <br />instruct Police Chief Mecklenburg to study and review the traffic and <br />dealer truck unloading situation. <br /> <br />Finance Director Mikula explained the assessment procedure to residents <br />in attendance. It was explained that the total cost to residents would <br />not exceed the estimated amount. Residents would have 30 days from <br />receipt of invoice to pay the assessment. If not paid, the amount will <br />be certified to the County Auditor for a period of five (5) years. <br /> <br />Councilman Gallagher moved that there be no assessment to the residents <br />of Coutant. Motion failed for lack of second. <br /> <br />Mayor Sinagra moved that the assessment be reduced to $4.00 per front <br />foot. Second by Mr. Blackie.
