(c) That any funds received as a result of Federal forfeiture <br />shall be deposited in the fund established in Section (b) above, <br />if received as a result of a drug investigation or deposited in <br />the fund established by (a) above, if received as a result of <br />other criminal investigations. <br /> <br />(d) That none of the funds paid into the Law Enforcement Trust <br />Fund and/or the Drug Law Enforcement Fund may be used to meet <br />the operating needs of the City of Lakewood that are not related <br />to law enforcement. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />establish said accounts to receive said monies and to make expenditures from <br />said accounts for the above described purposes. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this COuncil, and that all such deliberations <br />of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect <br />and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
