Placed on First Reading .on~ 9-8-87 <br />Placed on Second Reading on 9-21-87 <br /> Deferred on October 5, 1987 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 79-87 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Gal lagher, Graham, <br />McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to amend Section 1121.02 of the Zoning Code of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood by revising <br />subsections (f) - Assembly Halls, Churches, Theaters and (j) - Eating <br />Places, Bars, Taverns and by enacting new subsection (q) - Carry Out, <br />Ready to Eat in order to provide for :increased parking demands at <br />establishments which provide standing room for patrons. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be appropriate and in the <br />best interest of the City to provide for increased parking demands at <br />establishments which provide standing room for patrons; now therefore, <br /> <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL (DF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> <br /> Section 1. That subsection (f) of Section 1121.02 of the <br />Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br />1121.02 REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES <br /> <br />BUILDING OR USE <br />(f) Assembly Halls, Churches, <br /> Theaters <br /> <br />REQUIRED SPACES <br />1 Space per 4 seats in <br />building. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended 'to read as follows: <br /> <br />1121.02 REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES <br /> <br />BUILDING OR USE <br />(f) Assembly Halls, Churches, <br /> Theaters <br /> <br />REQUIRED SPACES <br />1 space for every 4 seats <br />and every 12 square feet of <br />designated standing area. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That subsection (j) of Section 1121.02 of the <br />Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br />1121.02 REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES <br /> <br />BUILDING OR USE <br />(j) Eating Places, Bars, <br /> Taverns and Carry Out, <br /> ready to eat <br /> <br />REQUIRED SPACES <br />1 space per 150 square feet <br />of floor area or 1 space per <br />4 seats. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended 'to read as follows: <br /> <br />1121.02 REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES <br /> <br />BUILDING OR USE <br />(j) Eating Places.
