Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana George, Graham, Smith AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending Section 351.11 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood establishing the procedures for rush hour parking prohibitions. WHEREAS, it is necessary from time to time to revise procedures for implementation of parking restrictions, and WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that administrative procedures be established whereby the Director of Public Safety may quickly revise, establish, eliminate and modify rush hour parking restrictions to meet current needs and problems, and WHEREAS, this emergency ordinance provides for the public health, safety and welfare; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 351.11 of the Traffic Code of the COdified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: 351.11 RUSH HOUR PARKING PROHIBITED. No person shall stand or park a vehicle on Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on the south side of Lake Avenue and between the hours of 4~00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the north side of Lake Avenue; between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30~ a.m. on the south side of Clifton Boulevard and between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the north side of Clifton Boulevard; between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on the south side of Madison Avenue between Dowd Avenue and West ll7th Street and between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the north side of Madison Avenue between Coutant Avenue and Lakewood Avenue; and between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Hilliard Road between Madison Avenue and Riverside Drive. No vehicle shall stop on the foregoing streets during the designated hours, on the days hereinbefore indicated, for the purpose of loading or unloading property. be and the same is hereby repealed and a~.~ded to read as follows: 351.11 RUSH HOUR PARKING PROHIBITED. (a) Between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on the south side of Lake Avenue, the south side of Clifton Boulevard, and on either side of Hilliard Road between Madison Avenue and Riverside Drive, no person shall stand or park a vehicle on Monday through Friday. Between the hours of 4:00 and 6:30 p.m. on the north side of Lake Avenue, the north side of Clifton Boulevard, and on either side of Hilliard Road between Madison Avenue and Riverside Drive, no person shall stand or park a vehicle on Monday through Friday. Further, no vehicle shall stop on the foregoing streets on either side during the designated hours on the days hereinbefore indicated, for the purpose of unloading property.
