Page 2 <br /> <br /> There will also be district grant meetings held whichwill help get your program off to a good start. Our <br />district Watercraft personnel will be glad to helpyou in any way they can with your program content, teaching <br />methods, equi~ent purchases, etc. The district meetings are scheduled as follows: District #1 (Columbus) - <br />April 15th; District #2 (Springfield) - April lst; District #3 (Cambridge) - March 26th; District #4 (Akron) - <br />April 17th; District #5 (Cleveland) - April 16th; District #6 (Sandusky) - March 25th; District #7 (Cincinnati) - <br />March 24th. A representative from your district Watercraft office will be in touch with you to inform you of all <br />the details of the meeting. Another required training session is the boating safetyeducation/marine patrol <br />conference which is to be held at Maumee Bay State Park Lodge in October. We will send further information on <br />the conference at a later date. <br /> <br /> Once your program concludes for the year, we require that you su~t a year-end expense report and an <br />activities report. The forms for these reports are enclosed. Also enclosed is an Equipment Inventory Sheet. <br />Please fill it out as indicated on the sheet, and send it to us with your year-end activities and expense reports <br />at the end of your program year. <br /> <br /> Additionally, all non-expendable equipment items and printedmaterials purchased with grant monies or <br />donated to the program as a match towards the grant must be permanently marked either with one of the enclosed <br />stickers or a reasonable facsimile. This sticker states: "This item provided in cooperation with the Ohio <br />Department of Natural Resources, Division of Watercraft." Those items costing less than $50.00 need not be <br />marked, neither do equil~ment items where it is not possible to attach a sticker. All videotape scripts or <br />printed materials must be submitted to the Education Administrator for review and approval prior to production. <br /> <br /> Thank you for your interest in boating safety and in the boating safety education grant program.
