(b) No off-street parking permit shall be issued <br />for restricted vehicles designated in Section <br />353.05. Additional restrictions on classes of <br />vehicles and hours of operation of parking facili- <br />ties may be adopted by incorporation into the <br />schedule of off-street parking permits provided <br />for in Section 353.08. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Section 353.08 of the Traffic Code of the <br /> Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br /> 353.08 PERMITS FEES AND PERIODS. <br /> <br /> (a) The fee for each permit issued under the <br /> provisions of this chapter and for each renewal <br /> thereof shall be one hulndred fifty dollars <br /> ($150.00) for each permit period. Permit periods <br /> shall be for Six months, expiring on June 30 and <br /> December 31, in any year. When a permit is issued <br /> after the first day of any permit period, the <br /> amount of the fee shall be prorated for the <br /> unexpired days remaining in such period, at the <br /> rate of six dollars ($6.00) per week. <br /> <br /> (b) The fee for each transfer or replacement <br /> permit shall be two dollars ($2.00). <br /> <br /> shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 353.08 PERMITS FEES AND PERIODS. <br /> <br /> The fee for each permit and/or class of permits <br /> issued under the provisions of this Chapter and <br /> for each renewal thereof shall be as set forth in <br /> the schedule of off-street parking permits which <br /> shall be established by the Director of Public <br /> Safety for the period ending December 31, 1992. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal <br /> actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br /> this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and <br /> that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its commit- <br /> tees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the <br /> public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of .all mem- <br />bers elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immedi- <br />ately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it <br />shall take effect and be in force <br />by law. <br /> <br />after the earliest~~d allowed <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
