Traffic Signal Technicians shall receive time <br />and one-half of their regular pay for all hours worked in excess <br />of eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. <br />Traffic Signal Technicians shall receive time and one-half for <br />all hours worked on Saturday, Sunday, or any holiday, as <br />defined in Section 149.10. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Traffic Signal Technicians - Public Works <br />Department, who work more than four (4) hours as part of a <br />regular shift assignment between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 <br />a.m. shall receive a shift premium of twenty five cents ($.25) <br />per hour for all hours worked during the second shift (3:30 p.m. <br />to 12:00 midnight) and thirty cents ($.30) per hour for all hours <br />worked during the third shift (12:01 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.). <br /> <br /> Section 7~ Employee members, while serving upon a jury in <br />any court, shall be paid at his regular salary rate for each of <br />his work days during the period of time so served. Time so <br />served shall be deemed active and continuous service for all <br />purposes. In addition to the compensation provided for herein, <br />any jury fees paid to the employee/juror for service in any court <br />except Lakewood Municipal Court shall be retained by the employee <br />to compensate for the expenses of jury service. <br /> <br /> Section 8. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br />this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings <br />open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 9. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; <br />otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the <br />earliest period allowed by law; and ordinance 3-93, adopted March <br />15, 1993, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />inconsistent herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed <br />at such time. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
