ARTICLE X <br /> <br /> RELEASE OF PORTIONS OF LEASED REAL PROPERTY <br /> <br /> Section 10.1. Release of Leased Real Property... In addition to Section 6.2(c), <br />the parties hereto reserve the right, at any time and from time to time, to amend .this Lease to <br />effect the release of and removal from this Lease and the leasehold estate created hereby. <br /> <br /> Section 10.2. No Abatement or Diminution of Basic Rent. No release, grant or <br />conveyance effected under any of the provisions of this Lease shall entitle the Lessee to any <br />abatement or diminution of the Basic Rent, Additional Payments or other amounts payable, or <br />in any covenant, agreement or obligation of the Lessee, under this Lease. <br /> ~ Section 10.3. Granting Easements. At any time, the City, acting through its <br />Fiscal Officer and without further authorization of its Council, and the Lessee may grant or <br />release, as the case may be, with or without consideration, those easements, licenses, <br />rights-of-way (including without limitation, the dedication of public highways), party wall rights <br />and rights of lateral support and other rights or privileges in the nature of easements with respect <br />to the Leased Premises which may be lawful and reasonably required in connection with the <br />proper and efficient use and operation of the Leased Premises or of adjacent properties. <br /> <br />(End of Article X) <br /> <br />- 38 - <br /> <br /> <br />
