Section 5. That Section 145.04 of the Administrative C~de of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of £akewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br /> 145.04 MEMBERSHIP <br /> The Lakewood Clean Community Board provided for herein shall be comprised of <br />seventeen members who shall be residents of and/or real property owners in the City and <br />who shall be approved by Council and the Mayor. In addition, all members of Council and <br />the Mayor shall be approved by Council and the Mayor. In addition, all members of <br />Council and the Mayor shall be nonvoting ex-officio members of the Board. The Board <br />shall consist of representatives from: <br /> <br />Municipal representatives (Director <br />of Health, Director of Public Works, <br />Director of Community Development <br />and Superintendent of Re~se) <br /> <br />Community organization representatives 4 <br /> <br />Number of Place <br />Members Number <br /> <br />4 1-4 <br /> <br />5-8 <br /> <br />Business and industry representatives <br /> <br />4 9- 12 <br /> <br />Educational representatives <br /> <br />I 13 <br /> <br />Members at large 4 14 -17 <br /> 17 17 <br /> <br /> With the exception of the Director of Health, Director of Public Works, Director <br />of Community Development and Superintendent of Refuse, whose terms shall be <br />indefinite, members of the Board originally appointed to fill odd-numbered places shall be <br />appointed for a term of two years, and members of the Board originally appointed to fill <br />even-numbered places shall be appointed for a term of three years. Thereafter, the term of <br />each Board members shall be three years. No Board member shall serve more than two <br />successive terms, provided, however, that a Board member appointed to complete the <br />term of another Board member shall, at the completion of such term be eligible for <br />appointmem for another two successive terms. <br /> The terms of the original Board members shall commence upon certification of the <br />Lakewood Clean Community System by Keep America Beautiful. Inc. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to: <br /> <br /> 145.04 MEMBERSHIP <br /> The Keep Lakewood Beautiful Board provided for herein shall be comprised of at <br />least ten (10) but not more than thirteen (13) members. Eighty percent of the voting <br />Board shall be residents of and/or real property owners in the City. The remaining 20% <br />may be members doing business or providing services to the Ci~'. Members shall be <br />approved by Council and the Mayor. In addition, all members of Council and the Mayor <br />shall be nonvoting ex-officio members of the Board The following municipal depanmems <br />may send a representative to act in an advisory capacity: 1) Department of Human <br />Services, Division of Health; 2) Department of Public Works, Division of Refuse & <br />Recycling; 3) Department of Planning & Community Development; and the 4) Department <br />of Safety, Division of Police. <br /> <br /> With the exception of the municipal representatives, members of the Board will be <br />appointed to a three year term. At the end of the three year term, the member will be <br />eligible for appointment for another term. Student members will be appointed for a one <br />year term with the term renewable in one year increments. <br /> <br /> <br />
