Section 6. That Section 145.05 of the Administrative Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br /> 145.05 PROCEDURE <br /> (a) Nine members of the Lakewood Clean Community Board shall constitute a <br />quorum for the conduct of business. The members of the Board shall regularly attend <br />meetings and public hearings of the Board and shall serve x~Sthout compensation. <br /> <br /> (b) The Board shall hold an organizational meeting in April of each year and shall <br />elect a Chairman and Vice-Chairman from among its members before proceeding to any <br />other matters of business. The Board shall meet regularly and shall designate the time and <br />place of its meetings. <br /> <br />(d) .... <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to: <br /> <br /> 145.05 PROCEDURE <br /> (a) Fifty percent plus one of the current Keep Lakewood Beautiful Board <br />members shall constitute a quorum for the conduct oflmsiness. The members of the <br />Board shall regularly attend meetings and public hearings of the Board and shall serve <br />without compensation. <br /> <br /> Co) The Board shall hold an organization meeting in December of each year and <br />shall elect a Chairman and Vice-Chairman from among its members before proceeding to <br />any other matters of business. The Board shall meet regularly and shall designate the time <br />and place of its meetings. <br /> <br /> Section 7. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting <br />of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br />that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with <br />all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 8. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the <br />reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; olher~se, it shall take effect and be in force <br />after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />i~layor <br /> <br /> <br />
