WHEREAS, there is a compelling governmental intea, est to amend the method used to allocate the cost of amployeo hospitalization to the funds of the City to demonstrate accountability and equity to the funds incurring costs for participation in the employee hospitalization plans, and WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that it is necessary to amend the current method of employee hospitalization cost allocation that will demonstrate equity and consistency and will provide accurate information pertinent to the costs of employee hospitalization incurred by each department and division within the funds of the City; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OI-l~O Section I. 149.15 b)... That section 149.15 of the Administrative Code now reading as follows: HOSPITALIZATION COVERAGE FOR EMPLOYEES Such payment by the City shall be made from the following funds at the rates designated: (1) Wastewater Treatment Plant (2) All Grant programs where such cost is included in Grant (3) Street Construction, Maintenance, and Repair Fund (4) Water Fund (5) Parking Facilities Fund (6) General Fund * Percent of the balance after actual cost items. be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: C) ..
