Reroutine of Trair~s from Nickel Plate to CloegsvilIe Connection <br />Route: NS agrees that promptly upon completion of the construction and <br />improvements to the lines and facilities between Cloggsville and CP-190, NS will <br />reroute approximately 9.6 trains per day from a Cleveland (Cloggsville) to <br />Vermilion routing via the NS Nickel Plate line (as provided in the original <br />Operating Plan) to the Cleveland (Clog~ville) CP-190--BereamVermilion <br />routing created by virtue of the aforesaid eonsu'uction and improvements. Once <br />this rerouting is accomplished, NS projects that average daily freight train traffic <br />on the Nickel Plate line between Cleveland (Cloggsville) and Ve ~rrnjlion will be <br />approximately t3.9 trains. <br /> <br /> D. Revisions to Traffic Proiection.s.: Table I, attached hereto, contains the <br />average daily freight train traffic projections from NS' original Operating Plan for <br />the lines to be operated by NS in Cleveland and the Greater Cleveland area post- <br />Transaction. NS agrees to modify its Operating Plan by substi~g the average <br />daily freight train tra~c projections contained in Table 2, attached hereto, for <br />these lines. The traffic projections contained in Table 2 depend upon completion <br />of the flail Cloggsville Connection,. i.e.. completion of both the double connection <br />at Vermilion and the upgrades and improvements to. the line between Cloggsville <br />and CP-190. As demonstrated in the attached Table 2, the modifications to the <br />NS Operating Plan associated with the Mitig~on Proposal result in a projection <br />that the number of trains running on the Nickel Plate line through BRL following <br /> <br /> <br />
