Z 7- 0 0 <br /> <br />By:Corrigan, F±tzGerald, George, Roth, <br />Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to amend §101.09, Distribution and Charges, of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to update the fees charged for distribution of <br />printed copies of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREFORE, §101.09 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood has <br />not been amended since 1979; and <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, The Walter H. Drane Com party has agreed to provide additional <br />'printed copies of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood at the companies cost <br /> from the printer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREFORE, currently the printer is charging One-hundred twenty-five dollars <br /> ($12.5.00) for a complete hard bound copy of the ordinances, Eighty dollars ($80.00) for <br /> a complete soft bound copy of the ordinances, and Seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for a <br /> complete copy of the ordinances with no binding; and <br /> <br /> WHEREFORE, the Clerk of Council could make photocopies of the ordinances <br />available on a per page copying charge if the individual requesting them prefers; and <br /> <br /> WHEREFORE, updating the authorized charges for a complete printed co py of the <br />Lakewood Codified Ordinances will ensure that the City of Lakewood is not providing <br />printed copies of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood at a deficit. <br /> <br />BE 11' ORDAINED BY THE CiTY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That § 101.09 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, <br />currently reading as follows: <br /> <br /> 101.09 DISTR/BU'I'~ON AND CHARGES. <br /> (a) The Clerk of Council shall deliver one complete code in binder, including the <br />Charter to the Mayor, one to the Judge and Clerk of the Municipal Court, one to each <br />member of Council, one to the head of each department or division of the City, one to <br />the Lakewood Public Library and Madison branch, one to the Lakewood Board of <br />Education, one to the Juvenile Court of Cuyahoga County, and a complete code or such <br />component parts of such code to the employees in each department or division of the <br />City as may be necessary for the daily operation of such departments or divisions of the <br />c~ty. <br /> <br /> (b) The Clerk of Council shall have authority to exchange cop~es of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, Ohio, 1978, with municipalities extending like <br />courtesy to the City. <br /> <br /> (c) The Clerk of Council shall have authority to sell a copy of the Codified <br />Ordinances, including the amended Charter, or a copy of the amendeC Charter <br />separately, at the following rates: <br /> <br />(1) Complete codification in heavy paper cover <br />(2) Amended Charter of the City c.f Lakewood <br /> <br />$35.00 <br /> 3.00 <br /> <br />(d) , . , <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />101.09 DISTRIBUTION AND CHARGES, <br /> <br /> <br />
