passage of the ordinance or resolution, and such ordinance or resolution is approved by a <br />majority of the electors voting thereon in the City; <br /> <br />(a) one providing for an increase in the rate of municipal income tax charged on <br /> <br /> taxable income within the City under the municipal income tax provisions; <br /> <br />(b) one providing for a reduction in the residen~ income tax credit for residents of the <br /> <br /> City under the municipal income tax provisions; <br /> <br />(e) one providing for an increase in the basic water rates: charged before any <br /> exemption for water customers 'in excess of any cost increase incurred by the City <br /> from the City of Cleveland or any other entity supplying water to the City; <br /> <br />(d) one providing for. an increase in the water customer service charge for water <br /> <br /> customers; <br /> <br />(e) one providing for an increase in the salary of the Mayor, or any member of <br /> <br /> Council in any capacity. <br /> <br />SECTION 10. MAYOR'S APPROVAL OR. DISAPPROVAL OF LEGISLATION. <br /> <br />Any ordinance or resolution passed by Council shall be signed by the presiding officer and <br />presented to the Mayor by the Clerk of Council. If the Mayor approves the ordinance or <br />resolution, the Mayor shall sign it within ten (10) days after its passage or adoption. If the <br />Mayor does not approve it, the Mayor shall return it to the.Council with a statement of objections <br />to such measure within said ten (10) days, or if Council is not then in session, at the next regular <br />meeting thereof, which objections Council shall cause to be entered in its minutes. If the Mayor <br />does not sign or disapprove an ominance or resolutk,,'~ within the time specified, it shall take <br />effect in the same manner as if the Mayor had signed it.
